The Todd House still exists, and is located at 343 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The house was built in 1775, and was occupied by lawyer John Todd, and his wife Dolley Payne Todd, from 1791 -1793. During the time they lived in this house, Dolley and John had two small children: John Payne Todd and William Temple Todd. Dolley’s sisters Lucy and Anna lived with her, and helped her with the housework and taking care of the children. Isaac Heston was a law apprentice to John Todd, and lived with the Todds in this house. Click the Door to enter the house.
