1793 William Temple Todd was one of Dolley Todd’s two sons. He died before he was two months old. Although William Temple died during the yellow fever epidemic of 1793, he probably died of a different disease. In the 18th century, disease and poor medical treatment often led to high death rates among infants and small children. |
